A driver in a Mercedes Benz is dead after being fatally shot downriver Thursday night.
The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. in the area of Outer Drive & I-75 near the Detroit, Lincoln Park, & Melvindale border.
Two men armed with rifles fired shots at the car, striking the driver in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances are under investigation.
