A man has been charged after he allegedly shot a Chipotle employee in Southfield over some guacamole.
The shooting happened Friday night at the Chipotle on Evergreen near I-696.
According to police, 32-year-old Aaron Brown was upset because he received a small amount of guacamole. He then called the female employee a B***h. Things got heated, and other coworkers eventually separated the employee, according to police.

The suspect then went behind the counter and grabbed a cup to put guacamole in. Another employee knocked the cup out of his hand, and that’s when an altercation ensued.
The suspect eventually fired one shot and hit the 21-year-old employee in the leg. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Brown faces charges of possession of a weapon during a crime, assault less than murder, and discharging a weapon inside a building. His bond was set at $20,000. Video of the shooting can be found in our previous post.
