A man was arrested after police say he filmed women and exposed himself at a Planet Fitness in Troy.
The incident happened at Planet Fitness, located at 288 John R, around 5:21 PM.
Officers were dispatched to the business for a report of a male masturbating in his vehicle in the parking lot while filming female patrons walking by, police said in a news release.
Before officers arrived on the scene, witnesses advised the subject was leaving the parking lot in his vehicle. Officers arrived and observed the suspect vehicle traveling south on John R Road near Fourteen Mile, where they initiated a traffic stop, police said.
Officers spoke with the driver, a 30-year-old male from Holly, Jeremiah Dawayne, who advised he stopped in the parking lot to take a phone call and urinated inside a cup while he was there but did not think anyone saw home.
Officers then spoke with witnesses on scene who reported observing him masturbating in his vehicle after they pulled into a parking spot near him in the lot.
They moved to a new area of the parking lot, but the male followed them in his vehicle to the new location. The male was arrested and transported to the Troy Police.
