A man accidentally shot himself in the leg while at the Firing Line range in Westland.
The incident happened Thursday at the indoor range located near Ford Road and North Venoy Road.
The man was trying to reholster his firearm when it went off, striking him in the leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Westland police responded to the scene and are currently investigating. (News & information release only)
