A Lincoln Park police officer was shot Tuesday afternoon.
The shooting happened in the area of Outer Drive & Fort Street at around 2:00 p.m.
The suspect was reportedly being chased by cops when he fired shots and struck an officer. The officer was rushed to the hospital.
The suspect was also shot in the leg and taken into custody at the scene. Stay with @metrodetroitnews
