A wedding celebration that stretched from Canton to Dearborn took a dangerous turn Sunday evening after shots were fired from a purple Lamborghini Huracán near Ford Road and Evergreen.
The gunfire, captured on dash cam video by a passing driver, sparked an immediate response from Dearborn police, who flooded the area and tracked the celebration to a banquet hall on Warren Avenue and Garling Drive in Dearborn Heights.
Officers seized the Lamborghini-identified as a rental-and launched an immediate investigation.
The next day, authorities received an anonymous tip that led to the arrest of a person of interest, who is now facing charges of reckless discharge of a firearm.
The vehicle remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
