A new 25-story, 600-room hotel that is being built at the site of the former Joe Louis Arena is expected to be operated as a JW Marriott.
JW Marriott is a luxury hotel chain that is part of Marriott International’s portfolio.
The new hotel will have two restaurants, a lobby bar, a market, two ballrooms, 50,000 sq ft of meeting rooms, a swimming pool, a spa, and a fitness area.
The back-of-house areas will include offices, staff support spaces, and a large kitchen.
A pedestrian bridge will span over 2nd Avenue and provide a direct connection to Huntington Place Convention Center. đŸ“¸: Developer, Sterling Group.
