Detroit police are investigating after human skeletal remains were discovered in a backyard Wednesday night.
The discovery was made on Terrell Avenue near 8 Mile and Van Dyke.
According to police, the remains were found in the backyard of a home.
The identity of the individual is unknown at this time, and the remains have been sent to a lab for analysis.
