A massive explosion rocked a neighborhood on Detroit’s east side Saturday, leveling one home and igniting at least two others nearby.
The incident happened in the area of McCormick and Rossiter, near Moross.
Officials confirm one person was injured and taken to the hospital. Authorities have brought in a cadaver dog to assist with the search.
Video from the scene shows the destroyed home reduced to rubble. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
UPDATE: The body of a woman was pulled out from the debris.
