Detroit police are on scene after a homeowner was shot during an eviction process.
The incident occurred on Westfield, which is near Joy Rd and Evergreen.
A group of bailiffs, along with a homeowner, attempted to evict a person at a home. That is when the suspect fired multiple shots, striking the homeowner twice.
The homeowner was rushed to the hospital. One person from the home was arrested while the alleged shooter remains barricaded inside the house.
Cody High School was on lockdown as the situation is active. A 36th district court employee was also injured, but no officers. UPDATE: The Suspect was taken into custody.
