Hamtramck school teacher robbed at gunpoint

Hamtramck teacher was robbed twice early Wednesday morning.

The incident took place at the Early Childhood Education Center located on McDougall near Caniff.

At approximately 7:26 am, the staff member was confronted by an armed intruder while trying to enter the building, according to officials.

The individual stole the staff member’s valuables and keys. Later, around 9:15 am. the subject returned and stole the staff member’s vehicle, officials said.

No one was physically injured during the incident. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact #Hamtramck police.
