First 3-D printed home in Michigan is located in Detroit, and completed

🏡 Michigan’s first 3D-printed home is now complete and up for sale.

@citizenrobotics and @developarchitecturedet built Detroit’s first 3D-printed home located at 1444 Sheridan in Detroit’s Islandview neighborhood. Construction for the 988-square-foot, two-bedroom home kicked off in October 2022, and is the first of many 3D-printed homes that will be affordable, and more efficient in lowering utility costs for residents, according to the company.

The home began as a 3D design and was printed with a cementitious mortar using a robotic arm. The 988-square-foot, two-bedroom home is currently available for sale. #Detroit #Michigan
