A man has been charged after he allegedly robbed three banks across metro Detroit.
According to a federal criminal complaint, the first robbery happened on December 19, 2023, at around 2:47 p.m., at PNC Bank located in Hamtramck. The suspect gave the teller a note announcing a robbery. She complied and gave him a total of a total of $2,900.
He then exited the bank and entered another store without his mask on, which helped police identify the suspect as 24-year-old Glenn Pack.
On January 2, 2024, at around 1:15 p.m., the Chase Bank located at 20675 Vernier Road in Harper Woods was robbed with the same style as the first. The subject left the bank and entered a residential area east of the bank’s location. An employee of a nearby business observed the subject, as with the first robbery, change clothes, according to the complaint.
On January 12, 2024, at around 9:38 a.m., the suspect entered the PNC Bank in Hazel Park. The subject again posed as a customer and produced a note similar to the notes provided in the first two robberies. The subject exited the bank with $4,460, according to the complaint.
Investigators then began to search for social media accounts for Glenn Pack. Investigators found a Facebook page that was a public account. This account had a post of an individual that matched the description of the subject for all three robberies, according to the complaint.
There was a photo of him holding a “fan” of cash. This photo was dated approximately 12/24/2023, about five days after the robbery.
In another post, on approximately 1/5/2024 (approximately three days after the second robbery), there is another photo of the 100s and 50s laying on a floor face down, according to federal agents.
Glen Pack is now facing federal charges of bank robbery.
