Engine ripped out of car after crash in Detroit

Video captures the aftermaths of a crash on Detroit’s west side.

The crash occurred Monday night on Joy Road near Meyers in Detroit.

The impact caused the engine to be ripped out of the vehicle. The driver also crashed into a light pole, causing traffic lights to fall.

The driver was trapped in the vehicle after the crash but was later extracted and transported to the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation, and his condition is unknown.
