Election worker crashes in Detroit while attempting to deliver ballots

An election worker was involved in a crash while attempting to deliver ballots.

The crash occurred at around 10:20 p.m. in the area of Grand Blvd and Linwood.

Detroit Police responded to the crash involving multiple vehicles. They discovered that one of the vehicles was attempting to return complete ballots. Police secured the packages until more employees arrived. The ballots were sealed and secured.

Two drivers were transported to local hospital for their injuries. DTE is on the scene as the crash caused a pole to go down and the crash remains under investigation by Detroit police.
