DWIHN Launches Outpatient Behavioral Health Services Across Detroit

The Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) is making it easier for metro Detroiters to access outpatient behavioral health services with the launch of its DWIHN Outpatient Clinics (DOC).

The clinics, located at 15400 W. McNichols Road inside the Advantage Health building and at 707 Milwaukee in Detroit’s New Center, are designed to provide free, community-based care for children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Services include behavioral health assessments, psychotherapy, psychiatric medication management, case management, and co-occurring treatment for both mental health and substance use needs. Specialized programs are also offered for veterans, active-duty military, and people returning to the community after incarceration.

Licensed therapists and board-certified psychiatrists lead the care teams, which also include case managers, recovery coaches, and youth peer support specialists. Outpatient services are offered in person, with telehealth options available for those who prefer remote support.

The outpatient clinics operate Monday through Friday, with extended evening hours available at the Milwaukee location. All services are available at no cost to individuals with Medicaid, those who are uninsured, or under-insured.
