In today’s economy connecting the community to assistance is more important than ever. Earlier this month, DTE Energy held one of its Community Resource Fairs to provide financial support and wraparound services for income-qualified residents in Metro Detroit.
The event, hosted at New Grace Missionary Baptist Church, connected hundreds of customers to critical resources, while helping them apply for energy assistance, complete onsite payments, learn tips to reduce energy and more. Attendees received guidance on utility support, housing, legal aid and even free estate planning.
