One person is dead and another was rushed to the hospital after a hit-and-run crash on Detroit’s west side early Friday morning.
The crash happened around 1:00 a.m. on Lahser near Fenkell.
Two vehicles were involved in a collision, causing one car to strike a tree. Two people inside that vehicle had to be extracted.
One female was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to the hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle, a stolen white Audi, fled the scene on foot and remains at large. The investigation is ongoing.
