Downtown Detroit’s first gaming VR club with free roam is now open

For gamers and thrill-seekers alike, a new experience has arrived in the heart of downtown Detroit. Anvio VR Detroit, the city’s first Virtual Reality Free Roam Gaming Center, offers a fully immersive, next-level adventure for players of all ages.

Open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., the gaming center is revolutionizing how Detroiters experience virtual reality. Walk-ins are welcome, and guests can also book online or reserve the space for private parties.

Anvio VR Detroit boasts six VR games, ranging from fighting off hordes of the undead to intense alien invasions. Games last 30 minutes each, with titles like:
• City Z
• City Z Antidote
• City Z Survivor
• Station Zarya: The Last Frontier
• Revolta
• Lost Sanctuary

The highlight of Anvio VR is its free-roam experience. Unlike standard virtual reality setups, players can move freely within a large 40×40 ft physical space, interacting with a digital world around them. Advanced motion tracking ensures every real-world movement is reflected in the virtual world, creating a highly interactive, immersive experience. Built-in safety measures protect players from collisions with physical obstacles, adding to the fun without sacrificing safety.

In addition to its signature VR games, Anvio VR Detroit offers more entertainment options, including Xbox, PlayStation 5, a pool table, air hockey, and stationary VR machines for casual gaming enthusiasts.

Whether you’re a hardcore gamer, a family looking for a fun outing, or a group of friends seeking a unique adventure, Anvio VR Detroit has something for everyone. For more information or to book a session, visit: https://anvio.com/usa-en/Detroit
