Detroit’s Corktown has been named one of the top up-and-coming neighborhoods in the U.S. by TravelMag.
According to TravelMag, “Corktown offers some of Motor City’s favorite spots, including Mercury Burger & Bar, Bobcat Bonnie’s, Brooklyn Street Local, and Detroit Institute of Bagels, which arguably serve some of the best bagels in the US. Additionally, the June 2024 reopening of Michigan Central Station, a historic train station and landmark that shuttered in 1988, is poised to become a tech epicenter.”
Corktown is Detroit’s oldest neighborhood, known for its architecture, vibrant culinary scene, vintage shops, and ongoing revitalization efforts.
