This Halloween season, the Detroit Zoo is offering a brand-new experience for visitors of all ages.
The Jack-O’-Lantern Journey is an illuminated pumpkin trail featuring over 1,000 carved jack-o’-lanterns
The event, which runs on select evenings throughout October, is a first-of-its-kind at the Detroit Zoo. Guests can stroll through a glowing trail lined with creatively carved pumpkins, including designs that highlight animals, seasonal themes, and, classic Halloween faces.
In addition to the illuminated trail, attendees can enjoy fall-themed activities throughout the zoo. Food, will also be available, according to a news release.
