Detroit shuts down parking lot that allegedly was charging $900-1,000 for spot

Detroit has shut down three parking lots that were allegedly charging as much as $900 to $1,000 for a single parking space during the  Lions vs. Commanders game this Saturday.

Inspectors monitor lots in the downtown area after fans complained of high fees.

The Lions are set to continue their playoff journey this Saturday at Ford Field. 

UPDATE: The company denies the allegation and says it was a mistake. A judge had ordered the lots to reopen until their next hearing.
