A woman was shot by Detroit police Thursday afternoon after she allegedly fired shots at a repo man on Detroit’s east side.
The incident happened on Nottingham Road, near Morang Avenue and I-94.
Officers were in the area when they saw a woman fire shots at a repo worker who was in the process of towing her vehicle. Officers intervened and opened fire on the woman.
She was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The repo worker was not injured.
The investigation remains ongoing.
