Detroit police, working with federal agencies, carried out nearly a dozen search warrants overnight and into this morning, sources tell MDN.
The raids come amid a surge of shootings in a short period of time in the city this summer.
Sources say several of the arrests are connected to a high-profile case. Multiple weapons were also recovered during the searches.
