Detroit is getting its own Monopoly board

Detroit is getting its own Monopoly board game! MONOPOLY: DETROIT Edition will debut later this year under license from Hasbro.

The company is seeking Detroit businesses and nonprofits to be part of this historic way to honor communities across the city. The Detroit board will also include a customized Community Chest, Chance playing cards, and MONOPOLY money.

“Detroit is such a unique community with a rich history. We aim to ensure that MONOPOLY: DETROIT Edition accurately portrays what Detroit locals and tourists love about this charming city,” said Tim Barney, a Top Trumps representative.

From the RenCen, Ambassador Bridge, People Mover, QLine, Comerica Park, Little Caesars Arena, The Spirit of Detroit, Campus Martius, DIA, Museum of African American History, Belle Isle, Eastern Market, Motown Museum, Hart Plaza, DSO and other iconic landmarks to Detroit’s neighborhoods, the large and small businesses.

Public submissions and business inquiries can be submitted online at TopTrumps.us/Detroit. Once the board game is developed, it will be available in Detroit stores and online at retail partners.
