A Detroit home has been shot up three times in a drive-by shooting since May of this year.
The shootings occurred at a home in the area of Wyoming & I-96 on the city’s west side, with the latest incident happening Wednesday night.
The homeowner tells us the shootings have been happening for several months, and she has no idea why her home is being targeted.
“I don’t know why. I just want them to leave me and my family alone, please. I feel scared because I feel like no one is really caring since no one is getting hurt,” said Jackie, the homeowner.
Five people, including three children, were inside the home during the drive-by shooting. She fears this will keep happening and that someone will get killed. Jackie already lost her brother in a shooting in 2022.
The vehicle is described as a smoky gray Dodge Dart. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detroit police.
