The Detroit Fire Department teamed with a local pastor, the Detroit Public Safety Foundation, and Schupan & Sons Recycling to give a family an unforgettable Christmas.
Santa, Mrs.Clause, and an Elf visited from the North Pole and helped deliver the gifts to the children in Southwest Detroit.
“You don’t see anything but smiles. This is what Detroit is about,” said Detroit Fire Chief James Harris.
The children receive a truckload of gifts, food, and supplies.
