City and community leaders came together Friday at the Spirit of Detroit for a powerful Day of Prayer and Peace, standing in unity against youth violence.
The event, held at noon, drew faith leaders, educators, city officials, and residents to downtown Detroit for a moment of reflection and action. Organizers called it an “Hour of Power,” aiming to uplift the city through prayer and solidarity.
Participants gathered to support peace, healing, and protection for young people and families impacted by violence.
