Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is set to expand its transatlantic offerings in 2025, with a boost in flights to European destinations, according to a news release.
Starting in May 2025, Delta Airlines will introduce several new and expanded routes, including a brand-new direct connection to Dublin, Ireland, and increased services to Munich, Germany, according to a Delta news release.
According to Delta, the airline will operate four weekly flights from Detroit to Dublin starting in May, providing Michiganders with easier access to Ireland’s capital.
In addition to the new Dublin flights, Delta has announced plans to increase flights to Munich, Germany, the news release stated.
The airline also revealed plans to boost connections to Italy, with additional flights to Rome, Venice, and for the first time, a direct route to Palermo in Sicily, Delta says.
