Costco announced that their first Costco Business Center in Michigan has officially opened today. It is located at the former Northland Center shopping mall site in Southfield.
The location for will differ from others. Products will be offered in greater quantities and won’t include the bakery and pharmacy. All members are welcome.
The Northland Mall site was sold in 2021 and is currently going under redevelopment
The project consists of a 1,339-unit mixed-use apartment community that will provide comfortable and dynamic work-force housing in 14, five-story buildings. Six of these buildings will have a commercial component on the ground floor facing Greenfield Road. The Hudson Co. store will become Hudson City Market for food and home furnishing, the power plant will be redesigned into a club house, and much more.
