CAVA, a popular restaurant chain, plans to open its first Michigan locations.
One is proposed for downtown Detroit at 636 Woodward Avenue in a 3,000-square-foot ground-floor space, according to WhatNowDetroit. The other is being discussed in the Canton area.
CAVA, founded in Maryland in 2006, specializes in customizable bowls, pitas, and sides featuring fresh Mediterranean ingredients like hummus, falafel, and harissa. The chain has grown to over 375 locations across the U.S. (news & information release only)
