Southfield Freeway has closed down after a body was found on the freeway.
The investigation is happening on the southbound lanes of Southfield near Warren Ave.
At this time, it’s unknown how the female’s body got there or her cause of death.
UPDATE: Police say a 62-year-old woman was dancing in the lanes of travel and was only partially clothed before she was hit by a car. The driver that hit the woman did not stay at the scene.
