A body was found inside a garbage can in Detroit on Thursday.
The discovery was made at around 5:00 p.m. in a wooded area behind a home on Omira, near I-75 and 8 Mile.
A man called 911 after he went to see where a strong smell of odor was coming from and discovered the body inside the garbage can.
The circumstances and cause of death are unknown.
