An investigation is underway after a body was found burned on Detroit’s east side.
Authorities responded to a vacant home on Fairport, near Gratiot & McNichols, around 7:00 a.m. after receiving reports of a fire.
Upon arrival, they discovered a person with both hands and feet tied up and burned beyond recognition.
Detroit police homicide detectives are investigating the case.
