Black Mafia Family leader ‘Big Meech’ gets reduced prison sentence, will be out as early as 2025

Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, one of the leaders of “Black Mafia Family” (BMF) will be released as early as 2025 after a federal judge reduced his sentence.

Demetrius Flenory was sentenced to a 30-year sentence and had a release date of May 5, 2028.

A federal judge agreed to remove 32 months (3 years) from his sentence on Tuesday, citing the new Sentencing Guidelines Amendments 821, according to federal documents. He now could be released as soon as 2025.

Big Meech and his brother Terry Lee “Southwest Tee” led a national drug ring with over 500 employers who distributed thousands of pounds of cocaine worth more than $270 million in cities in 11 states, including Detroit.

In 2005 when federal agents arrested the brothers along for drug trafficking and money laundering.
