Better Made sues marijuana companies for using their logo

Detroit’s Better Made has filed a lawsuit against multiple cannabis companies in metro #Detroit for using their logo.

The lawsuit alleges that companies are using their trademarked logo on packages of marijuana flowers and edibles “Better Smoke”.

Better Made is asking the court to force the company to stop using their trademark and for monetary damages.

“Defendants’ unlawful use of the Better Made Marks is likely to cause consumers to believe, erroneously, that Better Made has endorsed Defendants’ products, jeopardizing the goodwill and tarnishing the reputation associated with Better Made’s Marks. It threatens to confuse consumers who seek the reliable and dependable products of Better Made to unjustly enrich Defendants,” the lawsuit reads.
