
A deadly crash shut down a stretch of Ecorse Road in Romulus Friday evening after two vehicles collided head-on, leaving one person dead and another seriously injured.
On Friday, around 6:35 p.m., a black Lincoln MKZ crossed the center line on Ecorse Road and hit a gray Ford F-150 head-on.
The Lincoln was driven by a 43-year-old man from Wayne. The Ford was driven by a 42-year-old man from Van Buren Township.
One of the drivers was taken to the hospital and later died. The other driver was seriously hurt and remains in stable condition.
The crash happened between Middlebelt and Inkster. Ecorse Road is closed in that area while investigators process the scene.
