Apple academy coming to Detroit, offering free classes

Apple is set to launch a Manufacturing Academy in Detroit, aiming to support businesses in adopting advanced manufacturing technologies.

The initiative will provide guidance from Apple engineers and experts from leading universities, including Michigan State, to assist small and mid-sized companies in integrating smart manufacturing practices.

The academy will offer free online and in-person courses, focusing on skill development in areas such as project management and manufacturing process optimization.

This effort is part of Apple’s broader $500 billion investment to advance innovation and high-tech manufacturing in the United States. This investment effort will also bring 20,000 jobs in the U.S., according to an Apple News release.
