The American Arab Chamber of Commerce (AACC) @americanarab proudly shares a significant milestone in the journey towards developing entrepreneurship and economic growth within the Arab American community. Today, the AACC is delighted to announce the appointment of Bilal Hammoud @bilal as the Executive Director who will spearhead the organization’s mission.
Hammoud brings extensive experience as a public servant, academic and former government official for the Michigan Department of State. The AACC is confident that under his guidance, the organization will reach new heights in supporting Arab American businesses. According to Ahmad Chebbani (@chebania), Chairman of the AACC, “We are thrilled to welcome Bilal Hammoud to lead the AACC into a new era. His proven track record and passion for community development make him the ideal candidate to drive our mission forward.”
AACC Board Member, and General Counsel & Board Secretary for the Kresge Foundation, Zenna F. Elhassan (@zennafe) expressed her support stating, “I am excited to welcome Bilal as the executive director of the Chamber. I am confident he will do great things in this role, and I am excited to see all that he will achieve for the Chamber.” In tandem with this exciting announcement, the AACC is thrilled to introduce a groundbreaking innovation hub designed to redefine opportunities for Arab American entrepreneurs.
