Amazon Fresh is expanding in Metro Detroit with two new locations in Troy and Shelby Township.
The Shelby Township store will be at 13975 Hall Road in the Hall Road. The Troy store will open at 780 E Big Beaver Road in the Troy Marketplace shopping center, according to people familiar with the plans.
Amazon Fresh is a grocery store chain owned by Amazon, offering a mix of traditional shopping and high-tech features. Customers can shop in-store, order online, or use the Amazon Fresh app for pickup and delivery.
The stores feature “Just Walk Out” technology, allowing customers to grab items and leave without checkout lines. Purchases are tracked automatically, and payments are processed through their Amazon account.
