A 52-year-old man has been arrested & charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, a felony, after allegedly attacking his girlfriend’s 13-year-old son.
According to investigators’ reports, the incident happened after the man allegedly became angry with the teen for eating all of the household’s fruit roll-ups.
The man tied an iPhone charger around the boy’s arms, choked him out, and punched him multiple times in the arms, stomach, and head. The boy’s father took him to the hospital for treatment.
He received $20,000 personal bond and was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
