Metro Detroit is once again dealing with dangerous air. On Monday, we were ranked in the top five worldwide for worst air quality, according to IQAir.
This is the tenth time wildfire smoke has impacted our air. The current poor air is being caused by smoke from Canadian wildfires.
A statewide air quality alert is in effect through Monday. Health officials say everyone, especially people with asthma or heart problems, should limit time outside.
