2-year-old shot after stray bullet enters home in Detroit

Detroit police are investigating after a 2-year-old boy was shot late Saturday night.

The incident happened near Marion Street, in the area of Van Dyke and I-94. Shots were fired at a nearby park, and one of the bullets struck the child after entering a home.

The toddler was rushed to the hospital by family and is in temporary serious condition.

A police helicopter is actively searching for the suspects.
