Four individuals have been charged following a pharmacy break-in in Novi, and investigators believe the group may be connected to more than 25 similar incidents across metro Detroit.
The suspects were arrested after a break-in at the Novi Pharmacy located near 10 Mile and Haggerty after MSP helicopter caught them in the act.
Officers moved in, taking three suspects into custody inside the business while the fourth tried to flee in a vehicle. He was later captured after a coordinated response involving ground units and helicopter.
Charged in relation to the case are:
Jalen Martez Richardson, 31
Jonathan Marquise Richardson, 30
Davon Marcelis Davis, 18
Christopher Mark Richardson, 21
The group is suspected to be part of a larger operation targeting pharmacies throughout Metro Detroit. The incident at the Novi location may be just one of more than 25 pharmacy break-ins that law enforcement agencies are now investigating as potentially connected.
