An armed man was shot multiple times by Livonia police Friday afternoon.
The incident happened on Middlebelt near 5 Mile road around 2:00 p.m.
We are told that the suspect was suffering a mental health episode and attempted to rob the store.
Officers arrived, and the suspect was armed with the gun when he was shot. He was rushed to the hospital and he is in critical conditions
