Three people have been arrested following multiple massage parlor busts across metro Detroit.
On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, after a six-month-long investigation, the SONIC Task Force dismantled a suspected human-trafficking and money laundering operation linked to several massage parlors operating in Novi, Farmington, and Livonia.
The investigation revealed that female victims were allegedly coerced into performing sex acts under the cover of legitimate massage services. Detectives determined that many of the women, who had been transported from out of state, were forced to work under exploitive conditions.
