A group of suspects attempted to steal brand-new Hummer EVs from a train at GM’s Factory Zero plant in Detroit on Tuesday.
The suspects broke into the train and tried to drive the electric vehicles off the lot, but both got stuck on the nearby railroad tracks during the attempted getaway.
The two Hummer EVs were heavily damaged. The incident remains under investigation.
