Detroit police are investigating a crash that left two pedestrians dead on the city’s west side.
The crash occurred Friday evening in the Fenkell & Evergreen area.
A female driver was traveling on Evergreen when witnesses say she lost control of her car & hit two people walking.
The male and female victims were rushed to the hospital but did not survive.
Video from the scene captures officers walking away the driver in handcuffs.
Police could not confirm the reason she was arrested but did say the car was traveling at a high rate of speed.
