An argument between a customer and a gas station clerk ended in a shooting Tuesday evening, according to Southfield Police.
Officers were called to the Shell Gas Station on Greenfield Road near 10 Mile around 7:24 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired.
Investigators say the dispute began as a verbal altercation inside the store and quickly escalated when both the customer and the clerk pulled out fire-arms and exchanged shots.
No one was injured in the shooting. Both individuals were taken into custody at the scene.
