Three children lost their lives after being trapped in a house fire in West Bloomfield.
Officials received a call Sunday night about a fire at a residence on the 5000 block of Pembury Lane, which is near Northwestern Highway & Orchard Lake.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and forced entry through the front door, where they discovered the three victims inside.
The individuals—identified as a 16-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy, and a 12-year-old boy—were transported to the hospital but died to their injuries, officials confirmed.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire, which remains undetermined.
